How A Story is Made
Behind the Scenes
From the first page of Scripture to Cory's voice, here's how every Sparrow Kids story comes together. Come take a peek!
Six Steps, Every Story
Every story takes a lot of hands and a lot of prayer. Here's the path each one follows!
The Script
Every story is written straight from the Bible, with a teaching moment and a prayer that ties into the theme.
The Review
Pastor James, our Director of Theology, reads every script to make sure it's true to Scripture and clear for kids, with gentle handling of hard moments.
The World
Every character, set, and costume is designed in our clay style, true to Bible times.
The Storyboard
The whole story is built into a storyboard, shot by shot, then brought to life with AI-assisted animation software.
The Voice
Cory records and narrates every story, and the team adds music and sound effects to bring it to life.
The Prayer Kids
Every story ends with our Prayer Kids leading a prayer. They have many skin tones and personalities, so every child can see themselves!
Meet the Characters
Every Sparrow character starts from the same clay and is shaped into someone different, with their own face, look, and personality. Before a story is animated, each character gets a sheet showing them from every side, so they look the same in every shot.

From Storyboard to screen
Here's some of the storyboard for The Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37). These are the clay images we digitally crafted to bring this story to life!
